Prici (“we”, “us”, “our”) is an Australian-built quoting application for trade professionals. This policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal information in accordance with the Australian Privacy Act 1988 and the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs).
What We Collect
Account Information
Name, email address, and business details you provide when signing up.
Quote and Invoice Data
Job descriptions, line items, pricing, and customer contact details you enter into the app.
Usage Data
Pages visited, features used, and technical data (browser type, device, IP address) to help us improve the service.
Communications
Messages sent via the live chat widget on our website.
How We Use Your Information
- To provide and maintain the Prici service
- To send quotes and invoices on your behalf
- To notify you when a customer views or accepts a quote
- To improve the app based on usage patterns
- To respond to support enquiries
AI Processing
When you use our AI-powered features (notes parsing, photo scan, voice dictation, terms generation), your input is sent to third-party AI services for processing.
- We use Google Gemini for AI processing
- We do not use your data to train AI models
- The AI processes your input in real time and does not retain it after generating a response

We use industry-standard security measures including encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS), row-level security on our database, and secure authentication. Your data is only accessible to your account.
Your Rights
Under the Australian Privacy Act, you have the right to:
- Access the personal information we hold about you
- Request correction of inaccurate information
- Request deletion of your account and all associated data
- Lodge a complaint with the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) if you believe we have breached our obligations
Data Retention
We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will remove your personal information within 30 days. Anonymised, aggregated usage data may be retained for analytics purposes.
Cookies
We use essential cookies for authentication and session management only. We do not use advertising or third-party tracking cookies.
